Getting Started with Trezor.io/start

Trezor.io/start is the official onboarding portal for setting up your Trezor hardware wallet. Whether you're new to crypto or upgrading to a more secure storage method, this page provides step-by-step instructions to configure your device safely.

Initial Setup Process

Begin by connecting your Trezor Model One or Trezor Model T to your computer using a USB cable. Then, visit Trezor.io/start to download the Trezor Suite app. Follow the on-screen prompts to install firmware, create a new wallet, or recover an existing one using your recovery seed.

Logging In to Your Wallet

Launch the Trezor Suite application.
Connect your Trezor device to your computer.
Verify the connection and confirm on the device.
Enter your PIN directly on the Trezor hardware.
Optional: Enter your passphrase for enhanced protection.

Once authenticated, you can manage assets, view transactions, and monitor portfolio activity.

How to Log Out Safely

To ensure full security:

Click “Forget Device” within Trezor Suite.
Close the app and disconnect the device physically.
Avoid using public machines for wallet access.
